K1MEDGLOBAL has developed and is producing the first piezo-type extracorporeal shock wave handle in Korea that focuses ultrasonic waves strongly on a certain point by arranging a large number of piezoelectric elements on the curved surface of the handle and controls the depth of focus using a gel pad.
This method can stimulate a small area by adjusting the focus to the desired depth, and creates a more powerful focal sound pressure than the curved single element method, producing the best effect without causing damage (burning) to the skin.
Radial type shockwave (pneumatic)
In radial extracorporeal shock waves, the energy spreads radially as the shock wave reaches the body. This type of shock wave causes vibration in tissues, helping cell regeneration and improving blood circulation. In particular, it is mainly used for hand, wrist, and elbow pain, muscle tension, and pain. Since the energy spreads as it penetrates into the body, it is more effective for large areas such as muscles.
